New Sales Tax Requirements on Patreon

Hey all, just writing to let you know that on July 1st, new sales tax requirements will take effect on Patreon, which means that some of you may see a change on your Patreon receipt to include a line for sales tax. As far as we know, this will only apply to patrons in some states of the United States and the province of Quebec in Canada (as well as other countries that may be less relevant in the context of our Patreon), and the sales tax rate may differ depending on your location, but this may change in the future.
