Sparkling Monotone

First sketch for the month. ..And first Mino illustration in tones 0_0

I always wanted to try that out due to her hair. It's...quite interesting. I mean, since the tone work was always my husband's department I'm still quite fresh to this. But I think it looks quite neat so far ^^

This is a wonder example of "art is both a window and a mirror; you see what you bring to it." I've been looking at this now for several minutes trying to gauge Mino's expression. Is she smiling at the taste of the wine, with the tip of her tongue licking her lip? Or is she starting to scowl at someone who's entered the room, with a curl in her lip and raised eyebrows? I guess it depends on what you bring to it.
